Privacy Policy

Sunhive Studio is a brand of Apex Hive LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to personal information in two separate places: this website, sunhivestudio.com, and orders you place through our Etsy shop. They work very differently, so we've kept them apart.

1. This website collects nothing from you

sunhivestudio.com is a shop front, not a shop. There is no account to create, no newsletter box, no contact form, no checkout and no shopping cart. We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not build a profile of you.

Two ordinary technical things still happen when any browser loads any web page:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, time, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string — as part of operating and securing the service. These logs are short-lived and we do not use them to identify visitors.
• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's font service, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP address as a result. See Google's privacy policy.

The product photographs on this site are served from our own server, not from a third party.

2. Orders are handled by Etsy

Every purchase happens on Etsy, not here. When you buy from us, Etsy is the party that collects your payment details, and Etsy's own privacy policy governs that transaction. We never see your card number, and we never receive your payment information in any form.

Etsy passes us what is needed to fulfil the order: your name, shipping address, the items ordered, and any message you send us through Etsy. We use that information only to make and deliver your order and to answer you about it. Read Etsy's Privacy Policy.

3. Who else sees your order details

Our dresses are made to order, so your shipping details have to reach the people who make and carry the parcel. We share the minimum necessary with:

• Our apparel manufacturing and fulfilment partner, who prints, sews and dispatches the garment. They receive your name, shipping address and the item ordered.
• The shipping carrier handling delivery.
• Etsy, which already holds the order.

That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, ever, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Marketing

We post to Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and Tumblr. Those posts are public content we publish — they do not involve your personal information, and we do not upload customer lists to any advertising platform. If you follow or message us on those platforms, that platform's own privacy policy applies to the interaction.

5. How long we keep things

Order records are kept for as long as we need them to handle returns, disputes and tax and accounting obligations — generally seven years, which is the standard retention period for US business records. Server logs are kept only briefly. We keep nothing else.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live — for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the UK and EU under the UK GDPR and GDPR — you may also have the right to object to processing, to request a copy of your data in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Email us and we will act on your request. Note that for anything Etsy holds — your account, your payment details, your purchase history — you will need to ask Etsy directly, because that data is theirs to control, not ours.

7. Children

Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and this site is not directed at them.

8. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
